They say never work with animals or children. Yet for DiG’s Secret Lessons we sailed through producing a happy-looking summer photoshoot with our chosen children – despite a little rain.
In this annotated photo series for Dirt is Good, we captured typical, everyday scenes of children’s activities and revealed the secret lessons that are being learnt – as well as the stains picked up along the way. Through quality photography, engaging annotations, and accompanying blog posts, we created original Always-On content to spark conversations about child development and learning through play. Combining skills with laundry advice meant Secret Lessons matched the searches real mums made on the topic of child development, while also targeting stain removal queries. This generated targeted SEO content and a social media buzz, too.
The series featured carefully selected activities and children to appeal to a global audience, and reached mums around the world on Dirt is Good websites and Facebook pages. Secret Lessons helped to spread the message around the world that children learn through play and that dirt is good.
